Title: Next for Brunswick?

What does everybody think will be next from Brunswick and what does everybody want to see as their next ball? Do you want a totally new line with new cover and core, or do you want to see an addition to a current line? Just checking and was curious as to what bowler's are wanting or looking for in a new ball! Besides the performance, do certain ball colors appeal more than others, or do you not care as much about color as performance? Thanks for your time, Bruce
Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!

I would love to see them bring back the Ultimate Inferno. I have two of them and am still able to use them on almost any condition.

i heard nothing new until sometime next year...because of dv8
i also heard they're letting most of their regional staff go

I think it was said that the DV8 brand was going to be completely separate from the Brunswick brand. That being said, their usual MO is to release in November, end of January/February and Bowl Expo in June/ July. If you look at the current lineup, I would bet a replacement for the Wicked Siege and the original Revolver are on the way. I've seen that Brunswick is doing a number of DEMO days around the country in the next few months for their Pro Shop customers. That leads me to believe it's probably a new line that they want to get the good word out on.

Brunswick won't let us use the DV8. I guess cause it a separate line from Brunswick and they'll have their own staff members. I'm really liking the latest releases and it's exciting to see the changes they've made in ball reaction. The Ulti-Max is really strong at the breakpoint and the Revolver line is really good and controllable with a lot of power. The Karma is performance on a budget and I mean that in a great way! The Damage line is really good and a solid or hybrid version would be awesome!

Something in the Karma line I would guess. With the first of the year being mentioned a few different places for new equipment I would guess they are going to have a few new releases. Will miss the Sieges. Love the Wicked and wish I could get a 15lb Burning Siege.
I'd love to see the PK17 cover on a more aggressive core. Similar to the Karma.

The current line-up is so awesome, it's hard to imagine what's missing. A hybrid in the Karma and Damage line would be good.

I would love a new Hybrid Siege and call it Total Siege, but I have a feeling the Siege line might be changing! I loved all of the Siege's and it would be sad to see them discontinued totally! The Karma is really good line for the performance at a great price and a hybrid would bridge the gap between the solid and pearl! How can you not like the Damage and Revolver line? It reminds me of the Zone line that gave you so many choices for a variety of bowling styles and lane conditions!! Mike Aulby and Parker Bohn III using the Zone line really dominated, as did Walter Ray Williams Jr. Not to forget that Chris Barnes used Brunswick and was one of the top new bowlers on tour!! If you liked the Ultimate Inferno, drill a Lethal Revolver, and lay the pin 1/2" higher and you will get a similar reaction. I find the Lethal to be slightly earlier and slower off the friction so that should combat that difference. Super impressed with that bowling ball!
I really hope that B puts out more solids in the near future. Only 3 they have right now (out of 12 balls on the market) are karma, lethal and alphamax. A solid slingshot, urethane solid karma, solid high diff damage and hopefully a new solid asym in the pro price point would definitely make me happy!

Just got an email and it looks like a couple new pieces are coming out soon. The date I am unsure of but there is a conference call for staff members to discuss the new releases. It looks like they have a new technology to preserve axis rotation and increase entry angle. When I hear more ill let you guys know. Looks likes a couple interesting pieces and I cant wait to get my hands on em.
