Title: Nexus Pearl

My driller was throwing the Nexus Pearl Monday and all I can say is WOW.

That ball had hit and carry with scouts flying every where that I haven't seen from a Brunswick ball before. Ball was drilled similar to my Storm Nano which is approx 65* x 4 1/2 x 40* with pin over fingers slighted the bridge.

 

My arsenal consists of Ebonite and Storm. If I see my driller continues to roll that ball like that, I may just have to add that Brunswick ball to my arsenal.

I bought a new nexus solid off ebay, laid it out and drilled it myself using a KMT Pro Ball Jig, pin over middle cg in palm, mb right next to thumb on right side.  The 1500 was too much for our house so I applied a lite coat of beans secret sauce, and took her to lanes.  Shot 720, with first game 279 with a solid 10.  Ball had no out of bounds, literally would recover from anywhere and what a strong angular move.  Getting push thru the heads was very easy but got tought in game 3 though I still managed 233.  Really thinking of adding a nexus pearl with same drill and keep shined for late game action.  The nexus look like a special ball line to say the least

The Nexus Solid and Pearl are great balls for heavier oil conditions, sport conditions, and even house conditions.  The one strength of the Nexus Pearl is that you can keep the same line when the Nexus Solid starts hooking too much.  Both balls are very clean through the heads and have a strong continuation through the pins.  They are great additions to any arsenal.  Also, the Nexus Solid works well with coverstock changes either adding polish or using a higher grit Siaair pad.
