I have this ball it is the bronze colored one, wondering if people have adjusted the cover on it, I am thinking of taking polish off to get it to read the lane just a little sooner. just looking for other people's experiences.

Back when I was using mine I did remove the gloss. Probably used a 2000 or 3000 pad with water flowing on the spinner.  It was good.

You can also take it way down to 500, then step to 1000, and finish at 2000 or 3000 if you like.  That way you're likely to remove all the original polish.  Good luck and let me know if it's enough change for you.

I had a Nexxxus f(p+s) with the surface at 4000 so that it wouldn't snap as hard down lane. All of the Brunswick balls take well to surface changes!
