There's gold in them thar hills!
« on: April 25, 2013, 02:55:28 PM »
Found this single drill 15 lb Gold Rhino Pro on Craigslist.  Took it home, threw it on the spinner, gave it a hot water bath, and after some more time on the spinner I now have the nicest looking Gold Rhino Pro I've ever seen.  The cover is flawless.  Just one tiny scratch I missed next to the thumb which you can see in the pic.  The longevity of these old Big B pieces is awesome.

Seeing as I have two of these now, I think I will sell one of them.

Thanks again to BrunsNick for posting the video that turned me on to this ball and made me a loyal Brunswick bowler!

Doug,

Ever since you started posting these finds from Craigslist, I started looking in our area, central NJ and Eastern PA. I haven't seen sh*t compared to what you find in your area. 99% are pure garbage, like 1960s Brunswick rubber balls and a 50 year old bag are typical.

I sold 5 of them last year all in 15lbs.  If I would of known people pay insane prices for them I would of taken the insane amount of money.  I sold them for $60 plus shipping.

Jeff,

It helps that I travel all over Northern California for work.  I have to say though, this is the nicest pick up I've had in awhile!

It's raining Gold Rhino Pros around here. I picked up another one off Craigslist yesterday. This is a lighter one -- my guess is 12 -13 lbs. as it's not solid core but has filler. Also single drill.

I'm getting both of these weighed and spans checked then look for them in the for sale section soon.
