Which ball in the current brunswick lineup would be a step up or a tad stronger than the massive damage?

You have 2 options. One being the Versa Max and the other being the Maxxed Out. For me the Massive is closer to my Maxxed Out than the Versa. Other people have the Versa being closer. If you use your Massive on the fresh I would go with the Maxxed Out. It will give you a few more usability than the Versa.

Man, I completly read your post the wrong way. If you want something a little stronger go with the Maxxed Out. The shape will be similar and will be a tad stronger.

I agree with the Maxxed Out. For me it has been one of the better solids in quite some time.
I dulled it and it handles plenty of oil, while on house shots I keep it between 2000 & 4000.  The Versa Max with it's polish is an amazing ball too, but I play a similar line as the Massive Damage.

For me the Versa-Max is a tad stronger than the Massive Damage and the Maxxed Out is a lot stronger! The Versa is smoother and BTM gives it a 50 hook rating and the Maxxed Out a 54. The Maxxed Out has a stronger cover and core than the Versa and it's up to you to decide how much stronger your wanting!

The maxxed-out would be a good choice of a little stronger ball than the massive damage. With the solid cover, it can handle a larger volume of oil, and the cover takes well to surface changes. For me, the versa-max is slightly weaker than the massive damage. The higher RG core on the versa-max and the solid coverstock gives a smoother reaction overall.

Sorry for the hijack but I have a Massive Damage drilled 60x5x40 and I really like it. But like the op I'd like to have something a bit stronger.

Would the Nexxxus™ƒ (P+S) or the C·(System)™ maxxed-out be better above the Massive Damage with the same layout?

The RG on the Versa-Max is a bit too high for my liking...

Lillen,

For more contrast try the Maxxed Out. It handles more volume, and will be a more smooth transition on the wet/dry house shots. I have used mine dull for PBA shots with a great look, and 2000-3000 on house shots.

The Nexxxus (Copper/Black) is a beast as the ball exits the pattern, but like any pearl, gets good length.  For me, it's almost the same line on the lane as my Massive Damage, which is quite strong. The Maxxed Out is a small move inside and easier to read once it finds some friction. Hope this helps.
