7 Games on my Twisted and it's cracked!
« on: January 06, 2008, 11:06:00 AM »
During practice for league tonight I was wiping my ball off and noticed a hairline crack about two inches in between my ring finger and the x hole on my ball.  I was just wondering if anybody has had any issues or is mine just an isolated incident.  I really like this ball too I hope bowling.com will replace it.

sorry had to get a little joke in

i know there are brunswick diehards ahere and i used to be before the quality control issues.  Many time i would go to my shop looking for a brunswick ball in recent months and it would be on backorder.  Not to mention some of the issues ive seen with balls(i.e.  morich pins, plastic balls with lumps and lat spots, and overall coloring)   If you did purchase a ball and meets the warranty issues send it back, but remember that deal you got on the ball plus drilling no sending it back and having a new one drilled did you really get a deal online or now has it gone over what proshop costs would be?

i wonder, where is that guy ric, and brunswick Bob.  if I or jls had posted this,  they would be going postal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All bowling ball companies have a warranty issue that if you use finger grips it's void.  It declares so on the box...however, I don't think a single company would hold you to that, and if they did, well they'd lose a couple customers

spider,  i believe that the warranty would only be voided, if the finger hole bridge was drilled less then 1/4 ",  or if the pitch's on the fingers,  cause the holes to be drilled into each other.  or if, on a Brunswick ball,  the finger hole is drill within 1" of the pin.
otherwise,  inserts should not be a problem.
also, at the latest Storm seminar,  they are now telling pro shops not to use crazy glue on inserts.

I've sold a little over a dozen, no QC issues.
