Ball question

Looking to replace a 2 ball combo that has been very effective for me in league play last couple of years with some Brunswick stuff.
Big Time Sanded - Med.-Heavy
Blue Vibe - Med. - Light
Been looking at the Avalanche Solid and Copperhead. Any other suggestions for this stroker who likes to play up the boards with symetrical equipment would be appreciated.

I would go with the Copperhead, I have drilled several of them up for customers and all the strokers love the look they get. I have always liked the Powercoil 18 from Brunswick.

Don't get crazy with the layout and this will be a great ball.

Copperhead looks good.

Regarding the Blue Vibe vs the Aval. Solid:
Just remember that the Blue Vibe has a "normal" core, mediumm RG and medium flare. Its cover was made weak with a very fine sanding and a high gloss polish. The Aval Solid has a medium RG but a very low flaring core. You probably need to drill it strong to get the consistent reaction needed. So be careful. (A friend with a strong-ish hand but the pin too high and too weak, even though maybe 95% of his balls are drilled this way with excellent results. The AS was very inconsistent for him. )

Because of his results, if I were in your shoes, I might be tempted to use the Aval. Pearl and try sanding it to 2000 or 4000 Abralon to get a more consistent reaction. I have not tried this, but I'd be tempted, but then I like experimenting.

I gave the BV to someone who needed a ball. I tend to donate balls that way after I have used them a while. Foolish I know!

I'd say find another Blue Vibe, i haven't been able to find another ball that is similar to it.
