Maybe pattern E, but what oil amount, what lane surface?

All those factor into the equation.
Last Summer I used my Slay/R on a wood surface. I'd ask you consider as non-flippy and as mild a backend-ing ball as you have or can get. PBA patterns can provide a lot of free backend; at least in the first 4 games or so.

yeah it depends on the lane surface and the type of oil being used... on synthetic lanes i use my zone classic swinging it to the 2 board and it works beautifully, and if that doesnt check up enough i have an impulse zone with a lengthy layout that works awesome... a wood lane condition i would go with using my red/black monster.... so a newer ball out like the bruiser or maybe even the punisher would work great on E.... a lot of balls will work it just depends on your ballspeed, approach (i.e. cranker, tweener etc.) and ball layout...  something with a pinup layout with a higher top weight would be great for a cranker...

I think the Intense would work fine, depending on your type of roll.  I havent found the Intense to be flippy, more hard arc, which would be a great matchup for the dry outer boards on E.  The only problem I think you would run into is if you have a high degree of axis-rotation that would make the ball unpredictable when hooking off the gutter like most ppl play E. Good Luck.

Depends on your game, how you throw the ball, and the lane surface.  Which E makes a difference also.

E on synthetics, I have used Eraser Particle, Super Power with good success, used a weak Recharge well once.

E on wood is another animal.  In our region, we usually on use E on beat up wood, it is the most playable condition for nasty beat up houses.  Resin works better here, usually shiny and not very flippy.  I have an Eraser with the pin 1 inch from my PAP, pretty much only use this ball on E, works well though.  Pins over the fingers with shiny resin/pearl resin works well later in the block as the heads get beaten up.

You don't need balls that create entry angle for you, the lane/breakpoint will do it for you.  You need balls with a controlled break point.  E can be wet/dry, using balls with a little surface to them usually fixes this problem.

Hope this helps/your mileage may vary......
