I was able to throw a test SI, and have the AI, OI and other balls with friends as benchmarks.
From what I can tell, the SI is not a replacement for the OI. The ZC would be a better choice to "mimic" the reaction, or an AI which is in box a bit stronger than the OI.
The SI is quite oil sensitive. When it touches dry ground, it jerks to the pocket. VERY angular, probably the must angular break point of any Brunswick ball I have seen. But on too much oil, it just slips and does not work, probably due to the polished surface. Can be hard to control, quite condition-specific. Again, the AI should be more versatile.
I'd like to compare the SI with a Punisher on steroids: similar reaction on more oil, but not for true heavy oil.
