It's a dart, great for burnt lanes.

I got a Monster Frenzy drill for minumal hook and sanded to a 1200 grit no polish. Would that be a close reaction to the SlayR. It skids and snaps like crazy.

nope. not at all. A Frenzy sanded to 1200 and left dull will be MUCH earlier than a Slay/R. A SLay/R is for very light oil.

So you think I bowl on medium oil?

If you're referring to me, I'd guess that a Frenzy sanded to 1200 grit might be suitable for medium oil, but I couldn't be positive. A lot depends on how much hand you have and how it is drilled. I am sure that a Slay/R handles lighter oil than a Frenzy.

I can never figure out how heavy the lane conditions are. Any ball thats not discontinued like the SlayR?

Power Groove Pearls should also handle less oil than a Frenzy but not exactly sure of the relationship between a Slay/R and a PG.
