Options for Ultra Zone

i was thinking about getting a ultra zone to be my medium lane condition ball when my black widow solid either hooks too much or rolls out. whaat kind of layout will complement my black widow? its drilled pin up with the mb just right of my thumb hole. i throw about 14 mph with medium rev rate

If you want something brunswick and are worried about rolling out, go for a twisted, that's my plan

the ultra will be earlier than your bws so i would look elsewhere for a ball..the twisted would be a better choice ir you want more length..the ultra is a monster

You could drill an Ultra pin up and 5 - 5 1/2" from PAP. The ball can easily be shined, too.

Mine is drilled much stronger than that and I haven't seen roll out yet in over 40 games on it...

Are you bowling in the Sahara desert? Do you roll it quite slowly?

On edit, it would be stronger (earlier) than both your Twisted Fury and Rampage (with the same layouts).

yoshi,

What is your rev rate and ball speed?

No ball will be the same with "Bowler A" who has a rev rate of 200 as "Bowler B" with a rev rate of 350. Lane conditions vary widely, ball speed, too, as well as the option to shine the crap out of a ball if needed to add length.

My point is that you probably could make the Ultra work with proper layout and surface prep. unless you're bowling on extremely dry condtions and you roll it quite slowly.  Good luck.
