Question about Brunswick International Zone Series?
« on: February 03, 2007, 06:00:55 PM »
Hi guys, my girlfriend is looking to upgrade from an old plastic ball to her first reactive ball.  It will be a 12 pound ball and hoping for it to be a good ball for her to learn on and to be able to use for a long time.  We were looking at Brunswick's International Express Zone H and was wondering if anyone had any experience or opinion on it.

Bowlingball.com seems to have this ball for 99.99 on their website but a new 12 pound version can usually be won on ebay for about 40.00-45.00 shipped.  It seems like a good ball but the fact that all the descriptions say that it's designed to accomodate "asian lanes" makes us a bit nervous since we're not exactly sure what that means.  We're not exactly sure what type of lane conditions our local lanes are since we don't really bowl at many different bowling alleys.  If it helps, we normally bowl at Fountain Bowl at Fountain Valley, CA (location of the Dick Weber Open that just occured few weeks ago).

How would this ball stack up against other Brunswick lines such as the Vapor Zone or BvP Wizard?  Would the Vapor zone really be worth nearly 3 times the price?  Thanks guys!
