OOB Medium ball or still a Medium to Heavy oiler.  Remember out of box it is polished.

Thanks- Nod

Very similar to the Bruiser, I think.  Lower RG in the Bruiser, which should smooth out the reaction.  I'd go with the others.  Medium.  Dull it down and PK18 is stronger in the oil than Activator (Brunswick's words) with more midlane read, so you could use it on medium-heavy with some surface.

I'd say the strength of the Classic Zone.. similar core, but the Classic has newer coverstock technology.

If you  were watching Women's Bowling last night I think Stephanie Nation was throwing one... or at least that is way it looked like.

It was an Apogee.  She's a Columbia staffer now.

OK, thanks.

No wonder she lost, lol. She just shot 300 on a sport condition lik3 3 months ago with a vapor zone.. hrm.

Another correction, that was back in March and I was there.  That shot was TOUGH....the second highest game of the tournament by anyone male or female was a 260 something the 2nd game.  She shot 300 on the 7th game bowled on the pattern playing right on the 2-3 board.  Most impressive 300 I ever saw.

(as if I really have a lot to say, I just got mine yesterday!)

From the 5 games I have on my new Danger Zone so far (label-drilled, OOB finish), all I can say is arc, arc, arc!  A very controllable, even arc that will shine on medium conditions.
Two games on oily condition on wooden lanes I was able to play 20 - 25 out to around 10 - 12 with a slower speed, it never seemed to lose power.  Three games on synthetic oily condition with track burned in from league, I stayed away from the track and played straight up 5. With a little added speed and good turn on the ball, I shot it up 5 and watched it walk right into the pocket for a game and a half before I had to make adjustments.

This, from what I see so far, is a ball you can keep with you for EVERY condition except the two extremes.  when the lanes get spotty and other balls start to jump, this would be a good goto ball although I really can't see why this ball wouldn't be one of the first out the bag on most conditions, given its hitting power I see in it.

Another note, for a hugely popular, sucessful ball, I expected it to be a hook monster. Well, it is when it's on dry, but for the most part it is very tame, yet doesn't run out of energy on dry or with slower speeds.  That, added with its arc allows it to be a VERY versatile ball IMO.

Now I can finally replace my Vortex III TPS in my arsenal, hahaha.....
