Title: Original Inferno and backends?
Post by: rb27 on April 16, 2004, 08:13:39 AM
I find my Inferno only performs on clean backends (fresh shot).
Just curious of other bowler's impressions????

I have 2 original Infernos that I use regularly (and a couple with "specialty" drillings that I rarely use). The 2 original Infernos both work well on any medium condition that has sufficient head and early midlane oil. I've also played them straight-up the boards on heavier conditons from time to time with good results. Backends (or the lack thereof) are not a big deal as far as the carry goes. My Infernos only go back in the bag when the head/early-mid oil gets spotty or dry. THAT's when the backend reaction goes away. Are you sure that what you think is carry down is really oil pushed down the lane?
