It's an overseas ball, so yeah they'd be hard to find here.  The only way to get one is from ebay.  Judging from the cover/core, I'd say that should be a "go long and snap" ball.  Lane condition use would depend on the bowler.

I'm a Singaporean and got a buddy who has it, After a while of using it, he said the ball's reaction went "flat" but it is quite a good ball, very hard snap if you drill it to. The coverstock is quite durable. But i didn't really like the colour. All the best

did your buddy not clean the ball regularly? or did the coverstock get oil soaked really fast?

"after a while of using it" how many games do you think that was?

is that ball popular overseas? or is it pretty rare in singapore too?

thanks!

In terms of how fast it took, i am nnot really sure but i guess about 60 games or so.Oil getting soaked? you bet, once the polish wears off, the ball gets "suckier and suckier" in terms of oil, or at least that is what happened to my original super old black PK 18 pearl coverstock. But anyway, my buddy surely took care of his ball, and the "flatness"part i think it all depends on how you rev the ball and the drilling.Well i think so far i have only seen this Red Alert Plus once being used by my friend. I think It will be quite good if you are a stroker, not a cranker. But actually you will have to try it out on your own because in singapore, our "heavy oil" is not at all heavy, so anyway, try it and let me know more about it, all the Best !!!

i dont crank the ball, but i play between the 2nd and 3rd arrow and line up left foot about 4 boards left of center dot.
i get medium revs and have a good "behind the ball" release.
i have great mechanics and a great spare game.

i cant resist powerkoil 18 coverstocks. (time zone, danger zone, H20 Hybrid, Red Alert Plus)
i have an original danger zone black, and the hitting power is massive.
so i decided to grab a rare ball, and one that is pearlized PK18.
that is where the red alert plus came in.

i can keep up the polish with the red alert plus, there is an alley with a lustre king ball polisher 10 miles from me that is impeccably maintained, the polish blocks are replaced constantly.

thanks for the insight and advice, and ill be sure to update you when the ball results start coming in.

    Eric
