Title: PBA Inferno Blue/Yellow
Post by: Spider Ball Bowler on August 18, 2006, 03:04:20 PM
Saw that bowlersparadise has these...is this basically an Ultimate Inferno?

Take me back to the mid 90's, when Columbia 300 was the RAGE, Ebonite was slangin' dem WOLF tickets, Brunswick had ATTITUDE, and El Nino was in the eye of the STORM.

it didn't say anything about being polished on their site.

I'm assuming that bowlersparadise simply cut/pasted the Brunswick description of the UI, and replaced the name/color where fit.

Actually I'm more interested in it being polished...dull doesn't work too well for me....but I'm also looking at a Red Zone.....which is cheaper....so who knows lol.

i hear amazing things about the RZ, my driller thinks its one of the best to hit the market from big b in a while... but i have seen 3 of the pba UI's and they were all polished, it could be they all need more length out of it, but its more likely they just use oob finish(could be polish)

In all honesty, you can't really go wrong.  The Ultimate was a versatile, popular ball, and I'm sure the Red Zone will be just the same.

The UI polished for me was a BEAST!

There are so many choices...it's making me sick ahaha.

If I were you, I'd opt for the Red Zone.  But that's only because I really like the new zone core.  But on the other hand, I really like the inferno core too!  I guess you were right, too many good bowling balls to make a decision anymore.

Ya know it's almost annoying with the balls that are out today.

Oh well...I guess if you want to survive in this game, you need to adapt.

Yea I have a Radical, which was an impulse buy.  I was at the shop, and it was sitting there...and I had been reading about it, and the colors were amazing..so I was like PUNCH IT UP lol.

It's not very strong.....so I think I could use a Red Zone or UI polished to get a little stronger reaction.

The PBA inferno is the same as the original except different color. also it says PBA tour instead of Activator.

There are two different PBA Infernos for each season. The Red/Black is indeed an original Inferno. The Blue/Yellow is a polished Ultimate Inferno as is mentioned here.
