I came on staff just after it was discontinued. I drilled one up and I'm glad I did. I also have a Fury which is drilled the same 5" pin below fingers.

For me the Fury is more angular at the breakpoint and the UI brings the break closer to me. Both balls I can shoot the same line at the arrows, but they give me a different look down lane.

I'd like to see successful balls like the UI stay in the line up until it is truly outdated. Not just because they have to keep up with the Jones'

It is still one of the best balls available.  Both of mine are great on just about anything including PBA patterns.  The ball has the unique combination of power and control.   A pin-down layout that exploits the balls rolly characteristics is the absolute bomb.

Honestly, I feel that Activator is the best coverstock I have ever used.  All the Activator balls are awesome.

I agree the activator coverstock's never fail me, especially the activator + coverstock on the intense inferno.

Like Corey C, this one is my first.

Very impressed so far, (4 games) but I'm adding a weight hole to further enhance what I want the ball to do, as well as adjusting the cover. Originally they were 800 grit wet sand, and the new ones look much more smooth (closer to 2000 approx.).

I LOVED the Strike Zone, which shared the same cover, which is why I really wanted to try this re-release.
