« on: February 05, 2008, 08:06:36 AM »
I recently purchased a Thunder Zone overseas ball from bowlingball.com and was wondering if anyone else has and if so would love to hear your thoughts on it and what it compares to.  Thanks  Joe

Sorry, can't help you, but my proshop has just got them a few weeks ago (I'm based in England). The ratings indicate that it's a really strong ball. With the same core as Ultra Zone (updated Phantom core) and the same cover as Active Zone (PK Traction), looks like it'll need to see some oil to work effectively.

I'd love to get one (I love low RG core), cos they are not that expensive, but I just don't see that amount of oil.

Good luck!
