Red Zone video? Brunswick Gurus
« on: January 17, 2008, 05:31:07 AM »
Just watched another wonderful video on the Brunswick website.

On the Red Zone.  Unlike other videos this one I did not see or hear the layout used.

Anyone in the KNOW........Know?

Layout?

Thoughts on pin down on this ball?

i watched the video and couldn't see how the ball was drilled either. i believe i read once that unless otherwise stated, the balls used on the videos had the pin 5" from the pap with the cg and/or psa near the center of the ball.

OK...just watched the Brunswick Fury video and they stated pin down under ring and 5 inch pin to pap was the layout for previous demonstrations.

Cg looked stacked.  I wonder if the Red Zone was same and mass bias was in that 1/2 inch to right of thumb position?

Ball move(Red Zone)looked a lot like what I would expect from that drilling.

Thanks Rick!  Pin under ring I think ....No?

Appreciate your help...very excited about this ball on our house pattern.

Got my son one also...he is Lovin it!

Primarily debating pin up or down on our wettish mid and strong reacting backend house pattern.

only used on THS but does not skate through midlane and flip, it picks up nicely and does have continuation throught he back of lane..im at about 45 deg rotation, ball speed 16-17, 350ish rev rate, PAP is 5> 13/16^..it is a little stronger and earlier than i thought it would be...but im not complaining i really like it... i did leave 3 solid 8 pins in a matter of 7 frames this past week with it but what can you do sometimes..
