Polyester ball production cuts?
« on: January 23, 2007, 06:54:54 AM »
This weeekend a customer of mine ordered a navy/yellow target zone.  We had none in stock so on Monday we tried to order one through Ace Mitchell.  We were told that this color has been discontinued!  This color happens to be one of their newest.  It is not on the 2006 poster, but is in their 06-07 catalog as a new color choice.  Our salesman, Frank Marrese, has assured us several times in the past that a ball in the current catalog will NOT be discontinued until at least the next season.  Our shop stocks mostly Brunswick stuff, but this may be the last straw.  If any Brunswick guys on here can shed any light on this situation, it would sure be appreciated.

Maybe Ace Mitchell just "discontinued" carrying it...

Brunswick is finally getting us Vizaballs just now after more than 6 months of waiting. if they discontinue anything i have ordered just to get out of filling back orders, then it would be upsetting.

I was notified by my distributor of a few color Target Zones being axed, but its fine, since we're kind of low on stock at the moment!
