I would think that, if you're looking to temper the reaction off of the dry, you might want to consider using a pin position closer to your PAP, like maybe 2" or so (similar to the 3E layout on the Brunswick drill sheet). The cover on the Dry/R is so clean that it'll skid through just about anything, so I don't think you'd be sacrificing much in the way of control in the heads by doing this. Just a thought...
