Power groove rebates?
« on: July 13, 2009, 03:26:53 AM »
has any body recieved their Brunswick power groove 25.00 rebate check
from this past Jan/Feb. 2009?, I did the 3 stages of paper work, along with other customers and have seen nothing, this was handled by an offsite company, so does Brunswick have anything to do with the rebates?

No rebates on Power Grooves that I am aware of. The $25 rebate was on the Wild Ride and Maxxx Zone. If you purchased a Rattler they send you a T-shirt.

Here's the text to their promotion.

"CASH BACK

Receive a $25 Cash Rebate or a Free T-Shirt

Purchase a Brunswick® Maxxx Zone® or Brunswick Wild™ Ride bowling ball and receive a $25 CASH rebate. Purchase a Brunswick®
Rattlerâ„¢ bowling ball and receive a FREE Rattlerâ„¢ T-shirt. Rebate and T-shirt fulfilled directly by Brunswick Bowling & Billiards Corporation.

Offer valid for bowling balls purchased between April 20 and June 20, 2009.
Limit one redemption per bowling ball purchased."

Was there a special promotion for Power Grooves?

Sorry I'm no help to you.

Did you keep copies of your paperwork? I'm wondering if there's a contact number on it somewhere...

Even though a Brunswick ball had to be purchased, is it possible that the rebate was through another company?

After further review, we did have a Get in the Groove promotion that gave Consumers a $25 gift card that had multiple places that they could be used. We kept this more internal, not having an outside company control the results for us. Unlike the Gas Rebate promotion, I have not heard one complaint that this Groove promotion did not work. If there was an issue, we would handle it internally to solve the problem.

thank you to Brunswick (Billy and Ron) for following up and taking care of this,
the check came days after a few phone calls.
