Power Groove Red Urethane Pearl?
« on: February 09, 2005, 06:46:16 AM »
Have just gotten a Power Groove Urethane pearl, just wondering what to expect from it, reaction wise. Am looking for a ball to shoot straight down first arrow, wondering what the core is like etc, as I can't find the pearl one on the Brunswick website.

Its a pancake block so you basically got a slight step up from basic plastic.

Man I have been looking for one of those NIB in 15#.  Couldn't find any so I bought a Slate Blue Gargoyle instead.

As for what to expect from it, I believe it only has a pancake block at the top so it won't flare much.  A down and in shot over the first arrow would work pretty good as long as you're on a dry lane or the track area is burned-up.  Also, there better not be any carrydown.
