How well does the Power Groove fit in between the Red Pin and Dry/R. I was thinking of picking up a Power Groove, but am afraid it will be too strong to fit bewteen the Dry/R and Red Pin. Any thoughts?

I would say the PG resin pearl, would be longer and more off the dry than the Red Pin, zone classic. The Dry/r is supposed to get weaker than any other resin but I haven't thrown it.

IME the Power Groove is the *strongest* of the three in terms of both overall hook and breakpoint shape. For me, the Red Pin was slightly earlier than the Power Groove, but had more of an arc shape at the break. The Dry/R is just as long in front as the Power Groove, but is much weaker when it makes the turn.

I had a feeling that's would be the answer I received. Is there anything out there that would be a good fit between the Red Pin and Dry/R? X-Zone Low Diff maybe?

I was thinking of getting something that wasn't as early as the Red Pin, but your point is well taken triggerman. In trying to do this, it would probably be a waste of $$.

Actually, IME the Zone X Low Diff isn't quite as early as the Red Pin; the RG on the Zone X is rather high. However, unless you have a fair bit of hand, you might not be able to make the Zone X turn the corner on longer patterns that have broken down.
