Old bowler needs new ball

I'm getting back into the game after a layoff, and need a new ball.  Being out in the boonies with no real pro shop where I bowl (or anywhere close by), I'm looking for opinions to order a ball which can be drilled locally.  I'm a pretty average bowler (historically 165-170 average), once a week league, not a cranker or big velocity guy, and usually use a 15 lb ball to improve control and velocity with a semi-fingertip grip.  The lanes where I bowl are synthetic, described as "medium oil with a dry tail" by one of the top bowlers in the house.  I'm looking for something that goes fairly straight most of the way down with a moderate break at the end (no "rainbows").  Price is not a big concern -- I can pay $200 for a ball without batting an eyelash but don't feel in any way compelled to get the most expensive ball out there.  Any ideas?

Fairly straight with a moderate back end?  Sounds like the Monster SlayR to me.  It's very clean in the front part of the lane, and when it does hit the dry, it doesn't change direction instantly;  rather, it transitions gradually.  It also hits *very* well for a weaker reactive ball.

You might also want to consider the reactive Power Grooves, but my experience with them is that they do want to flip hard from the dry boards.  For me, the SlayR is much more controllable.
