I moved the sole back approx 1/16" per KR recommendation. It helped for a while.
The last sole I put on about 2 months ago, I took a sharp knife and beveled the edge of the sole where my toe drags. Seems to work well.
One thing I have noticed: The blue Brunswick soles are much thicker than the red Brunswick soles. I haven't looked at/tried the Hammer or the KR branded soles as of yet.
I really like the shoes beside of the sole annoyance. I'll probably pick up another pair to stick on the shelf before they go away for good. I'm disappointed that the new Hammer and KR Strikeforce shoe of similar design feature "microfiber" (PLASTIC!!!) uppers as opposed to leather.
