I have a used Purple Monster on the way, and I used to have a full roller-drilled Swamp a few years ago (now a female high school bowler from my alma matar has it, does wonders for her). That ball (SM) is a friggin' beast on a fresh shot, especially on synthetics. I shot well over 660 three times during open bowling on that surface compared to wood (that's how bad my house is
) and low 600's the most.
If you do get a Purple, please experiment with the surface if it's NIB condition. Let us know how it works out. I have a request: NIB or 600 wet sand with Rough Buff!
