Uh... if the pin out was 5" wouldn't that put the excess weight in the thumb side, not the fingers?

my suggestion would be to take a medium solid reactive ball.  1000 abrolon finish on the cover.  put the pin in the palm and swing the cg/mb 45 degrees.  use a shorter pin ball also

I had one of the originals.  I still have it stored away.  I had a lot of honor scores with that ball.  

Sounds like the remake might be a good ball for the Cheetah pattern on wood surfaces.

Whats funny to me is how people talk about how weak this ball is in todays terms. I tried one back when they were first introduced and at the time my strongest ball was a Purple Hammer. Well the Purple Pro did circles around it obviously. What it really did was magnify how bad my release was at the time as that was over/under city depending on how bad I released the ball.
