so this past season was my first season and about mid way thru i got an ultimate inferno and have since been getting better with it being able to hook, and it has seemed to lose its hook that it once had, i have cleaned it multiple times with water/soap on the sink, etc is there anything else i can do to get that hook back?

ok and also I bowl at two different alleys, one i just go to becuase its close and it seems to still hook just fine there but when I go to the alley where my league is at it doesnt seem to do it. and they said its a heavy oil set up at that alley.

It could be hitting carry-down, or it could be "rolling out" if it hits friction too soon.
Get the oil pulled out of the cover and a light resurface done because it's probably overdue anyway, then we can take it from there.

Don't underestimate the value of the Revivor to remove oil first. Then if the cover isn't beat up too bad, I would probably start around 500 and go to 1000, 2000, whatever you like the finish to be. You can also use lighter hand pressure. However, if there's lots of track wear you might start at a lower grit, then 500, then your finishing grit.

I like to use lots of water, and adjust speeds to smooth out the cover. Good luck.
