Title: Quantum Helix

Well today I walked into the bowling center where I coach the kids at and saw a Quantum Helix (the gold pearl stripe) on the for sale rack. I picked it up and it was a 15#, I then went to Jim (pro-shop owner) and asked how much. He said $20 out the door!! I pulled the money out and handed it to him. No I have a Helix and Double Helix in my hands, only the double is a 16#er. Anyway thought id post about an oldie. Cant wait to give it a shot tonight. Hopefully it will help cure the over under ness at the house I bowl at tonight.

thats crazy. i always keep my eyes open for older stuff when i go to new alleys but i dont have much luck

He has an older Zone there as well. I think its a Missle Zone?? Its solid red with I think it was Yellow lettering. Could be the 1st version of the red zone?????

I just ditched my Helix... I never really found a good use for it.

Used the Helix last night. Started out in practice with my No Mercy Beat'n but the lanes were just way too dry. Pulled out the Helix and found the pocket every time. Down side though, another night of no pin carry.

189, 197, 211 for the night at 597. My series average is 615. Not bad for a 1st night out with it.
