I have heard that this is stricly a heavy oil ball.  I don't have a big hook at all, and was wondering if it can be used on medium-heavy.  Thanks for all responces,

Zach

With drill and surface adjustments I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it on medium-heavy, especially if you don't have alot of hand in the ball.

i didnt see this ball as a "heavy oil" with the out of box finish. i was kinda disappointed at first cuz my Storm Agent was hooking way more then the fury. fury is pretty versitle. i got it dulled down to 400 grit and NOW i see that heavy oil come into play, but besides that, it does great in medium oil. just my view on it.

Last Wednesday night during league I shot a 4 game set of 1000 with my shiny Fury. I played straight up 7 board with it to start, and made small parallel moves inside as the lanes transitioned. This was on the typical house shot.

I have drilled it pin above the ring finger, CG stacked. Then I brought the surface up to 2000 abralon and added the rough buff polish and it "glows". Too bad it's my reflection on it...

The ball gets down the lane extremely easy and carries everything. My other Fury is drilled to roll earlier and I leave it quite dull. They are quite different.

With the right surface prep this ball will float effortlessly down the lane.

Notclay,

I am going to also drill up a Fury similar to your shiny Fury. Do you have a pic of it by any chance? Does it have a balance hole or not? cheers.

Okay, now that it's in front of me, the pin is above the ring finger, BUT the CG is to the right of the ring finger (2" pin).  There is no balance hole, and it even made it through "customs" at Nationals with no problem.

Sorry, I don't have a picture, but if yours has the same pin distance it would be easy to duplicate.  Shine away and watch the pins fly.  Good luck.
