Could someone help me here? I have been looking for info on the Forest Green Quantum. I am wanting to know mainly what is the coverstock on this ball? OOB finish, and is it particle or reactive?
I know this is an oldie, but I have an opportunity to try one out, so any info you can provide is appreciated.

when the forest green quantum came out( 1994 ) particle balls had not yet been developed. this was also the first $200 ball on the market. it came from the factory sanded---not sure of the grit. johnny petraglia shot a televised 300 game with this ball at the 1994 pba national championship.

i think P-Trags lost 279-300 vs. Bob Learn Jr. on TV with a fire quantum too.
quantum is the way to go, even now, just goes to show how far brunswick was ahead of the era back in the mid 90's.
i guess thats is why i have 8 quantums, NIB waiting for me to reach my bowling potential to get drilled (it may be a while).
