I am thinking about getting a absolute inferno drilled rico. I wanted to know what kind of reaction I can expect and on what kind of lane conditions this would be best for.

If you knew better you do better.

As far as I have learned (someone correct me if I am wrong) -
The reaction for a Rico drill can ONLY be compared to the reaction you get for the same bowler with the EXACT SAME BALL drilled "normally" and used on the EXACT SAME oil pattern/conditions:
THEN AND ONLY THEN, the Rico drilled ball is earlier and smoother in its breakpoint with less backend, making it more of a control ball than the normally drilled ball. This makes it more suitable to handle wet/drys and carrydown.
(Side note: I emphasized the first condition because one ball drilled normally can act like a second ball drilled rico-style. For instance, depending on your delivery, a Red Zone drilled Rico may act like a Sidewinder drilled normally.)
