Hey everyone, quick question. I have lost a considerable ammount of hook and pin action lately. I feel like I don't have a very solid grip on the ball. My dad seems to think that my span is ok, but to me it feels like I'm just squeezing the ball with my fingers and thumb, and just trying to create rotation with those. Does having too short a span cause problems like these?

Definitely could be the issue. As mentioned, pitches could be another problem. Have your span checked by your driller.

Also, age may have a factor. I know that between my sophomore year in HS and my senior year, my span increased over a 3/8th's an inch.
