I had a chance to finally drill my Danger Zone last week. I went with med. rev layout that's listed on Radical Drilling sheet for sym balls. I wanted some more shapes in my bag. I had the 1st Zone and I remember the ball to be heavy revving smooth transition down lane. So I went with this layout to have a piece that allow me more angles to the pocket and more flexibility. When I 1st threw the ball I was shocked how close the reaction was to the 1st one. This only thing that I noticed that was different was the change of direction this ball had down lane. I have plenty of balls that change direction quickly but I wanted that ball I can really get behind it to set up a nice roll down lane. To me this is a great THS ball and also a ball you can use in sport shots. It's very smooth and fun to use. I love the cover on this ball and how it response to friction. Once I open up an area it was a wrap. This is a ball I would start off with early on THS. Once the lanes break down I would ball down to a Rhino and won't miss a beat.
This ball revs up well, don't over react to friction (but make a move that isn't weak but continuous), and the roll is outstanding. This ball drives thru the pocket and hit very hard. This is a lot of ball for the price. I can use this ball on most sports shots except for the extremes.
