Can Any Brunswick Reps Help Me Out?????
« on: March 15, 2005, 01:35:05 AM »
I have a Bionic Zone 2, your web site says it is:
Coverstock
PowerKoil 22 Reactive
Color:
Blue Solid/Red Solid
Hardness: 76-78
Factory Finish
400-Grit Wet Sand
More Information

Core Dynamics
RG Max: 2.583"
RG Min: 2.436"
RG Diff: 0.047"
RG Asy: 0.015"
RG Avg: 4.6
Performance
Hook Potential 150
Length 80
Breakpoint Shape 75

This is the same stats listed on the drill sheet.  Now the discrepency:  In the description paragraph under Bionic Zone 2 it states that the ball is a PowerKoil 22 based ball with a low load particle coverstock.

Can someone from Big B please clarify what this balls coverstock is. Is it just a solid Powerkoil 22 or is it a PK 22 with a low load particle?
Any help from you guys to clear this up would be greatly appreciated.

Of the 3 you sent emails to Rick B will probably be the hard one to get a response from with his job on the tour. The week I was in Birmingham I had the chance to talk to Rick for a few minutes and he stays really busy. He is the tour rep for Brunswick and also keeps up the brunswickinsiders.com page. He may get back in touch hard to tell though. Like Johm said they were in meetings so they were all busy with that. Keep us informed of what happens when you get the ball and how you do with it.

Greg,

Please have a little patience.  While BallReviews.com runs 24/7, I do not.  I attempt to spend the weekend with my family.  (your reply was left on Friday at about 6:30pm)

Anyway, to answer your question about the Rhino Pro LE. (and I did have to research into this one to).  The closest ball available right now to the LE would be the Monster Bruiser.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Rich(im4x4nut),

Brunswick does have a "What's New" window on the website under the "balls" section at brunswickbowling.com.  This would be considered our "honor roll" listings. Check it out.  Achivements, along with details and a picture can be sent to your respective product specialist in your area.

Thanks for asking, and great bowling!

Thanks Greg,
I just received my second Bionic Zone 2 today. It's drill sheet also has it listed as a particle ball.
Since you have said it is a solid reactive not particle I recommend that you cantact the printer and let them know that the drill sheet is incorrect and needs to be fixed.
Thanks for taking the time to help me get my info straight.

I have to disagree as far as Brunswick customer service.

I have called their 800 number on several occasions and have spoken with their technical people.  I found them to be extremely helpful and more than willing to answer any questions that I've had.

Try calling them directly at 1-800-323-8141.
