A friend is offering me an AI for $55 is that a good deal if I have to have it plugged. I currently don't have an hook monsters and would like to try one.
I am on a low budget .

I dont know if I would call the Absolute a hook monster but it is a great ball. I have had one for a couple of seasons and it is a very versitile ball. Has very good hitting power and carry. Can be used on most conditions except a flood. $55 is a good price depending on condition and number of games on the ball.

The Absolute isn't a "hook monster" but it is an EXCELLENT ball. I have had mine for about a year now and I love it. Keep it polished for everything except for extreme conditions or sanded to handle some oil. $55 isn't bad if it is in decent shape.

$55 in your hands means probably $80-90 to fit your hands, maybe $75 if you're happy with the layout and just plug the thumb to adjust the span. Under $100 for an AI, especially one in decent shape, is a good deal.

Don't blame the lanes, blame the bowler! Adjust!

for me the absolute inferno is a "hook monster" on medium conditions and a great all around ball to have in your bag. very versatile and the coverstock is easily adaptable to scuffing or polishing.

Thanks everyone! I will get the ball and give it a try. I rarely se heavy oil so it should do me well.
If not I will put it up for grabs.
