Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Since I only throw Infernos, just call me the Flamethrower.

Pimpin ain't easy-it's mandatory.

And that's the ball you threw a 300 with! Isn't that made with the new Octane coverstock and their new "state of the art" high tech equipment? I was thinking about buying a Radical. Chrispy, keep us informed about if and who is replacing it. Thanks. You can make my purchasing decison much easier.

FYI guys. . .
Joe from ALL STAR BOWLING is replacing it for me, Which I think him very much for. I am also going to e-mail a few people on the big b staff about it, most likely send them some pics too.

Big bear hug goes out to joe and all the guys at brunswick for replying so fast and making sure I was takin care of. Still top-notch. . .

according to the warranty on the ball all holes must be at least 1" away from the pin---did you follow this ?

Yeah Greg, I did and always do.
it is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches away from it.

So states the warranty, but I've known Brunswick to honor the warranty even when this particular condition isn't met.

As an aside, though...how can a ball driller possibly abide by this condition without severely restricting the layout options for a ball?  In my case, the one-inch rule effectively reduces by 10 square inches the amount of surface area on the ball where the pin can be placed, even more if drilling through the pin is disallowed.

good question BC. . .I kinda thought of that when I first saw it too. I also saw it on brunswickinsiders.com when Mike Devaney had an Ultimate Inferno he was using on TV and the pin was literally touching the finger insert. It also showed a pic of what happened- the pin cracked. I know that he is a pro and got 20 more to replace that one, but what if it were an average joe who drilled his up like that?

It sounds like Brunswick is not strict on their 1" rule for the pin. I would guess that Brunswick would warranty the ball regaurdless of where the pin is. Within 1", touching or fully inside a finger hole. Any company thats dedicated to their consumers will not ask questions but just warranty it rather then losing a buyer.
