I do not own one, but a friend of mine has one (and went through the typiocal RI trouble) and good sources to a Brunswick staffer and the German distributor.
Ball is IMHO good for medium to medium-light conditions, at OOB - far less than advertised.
The OOB surface also caused lots of trouble/customers - very squirty, especially on longer oil. Some resurfacing and finish changes would solve this problem easily, though, but not transform the RI into the oil ball that it was proclaimed to be.
From the pro shop I also heard words of confusion about the ball - they got it finally to work better for many players (at OOB again) through a stronger pin position one would naturally put on the piece, just to make the ball finish more effectively - or adding flare-increasing holes once the setup was done and customers faced problems.
