Radical Infernos selling poorly?

I just got an offer from a big distributor offerring to sell Radicals to me at a very very low price-Plus get a Total inferno free!  Is this ball selling that poorly everywhere that there is an abundant overstock?
Is it because of poor ball reactions? Over expectations? etc

Just looking for some info from other bowlers and shops.

So 4 Radicals, and then one free Total?

Sounds awesome. I'd take it.

And basically the Radical has been a hit for some and a miss for some. I really believe you need to alter the surface of the ball if you want to find good results. I haven't seen alot of people in my area throwing it OOB condition.

I have heard that the radicals (now additional) instruction SAY...dull it a bit and THEN...many are pleased...I HEAR.

Could be the area, as I'm sure the ball is hot in other parts of the US. I think the ball is great, but matching up a layout and surface to the bowler is even more important with this ball.

I've seen success with pin up layouts and the surface prep Brunswick suggests, as well as pin down layouts, using x-holes and keeping the box surface.

i beleive its a love it or hate it ball. I probably wouldnt shine here in vegas since we use a lot of heavy oil and carrydown. I think it depends on the place you throw it at.

I think the High Gloss polish on the ball might have been a mistake. Many, in fact, most people will not touch the stock surface, no matter how many times you tell them to adjust it and that it's easy and the proper thing to do. The ball with the polish just never seemed to be what people thought it would be. Thus a lot of bad publicity seems to be following this ball.

On the other side of the coin, the vast majority of people seem to associate length with drier, light oil lanes. So if it goes long then it's not for any oil.

Once an image is established, that's the way people see the ball.

i recommended this ball to a friend when i saw the videos on the brunswick website.

we drilled this ball and the proshop operator said it was goin to be very smooth.

took it to the lanes where my agent and infinite one was impossible to keep it on the right side, the radical just kept goin and goin. the only time when i see this ball shine is when there are very dry.

anyway, radical is a good spare ball for him.

I have a radical, for me it works great, others not so well i changed the surface to 1500 sanded and iv gotten alot better reaction out of mine

I have a Radical and I like it. BTW, many female bowler love this ball because
it can help them skid longer and longer due to less ball speed than male bowler.

My GF love this ball and her friend raise 20+ on average after she drill one.
But one league bowler in our house use the Radical on one game, after he got
a spilt, he throw it into the rubbish can.........and said what a rubbish ball.

radicals are selling well here, the local dist. has the same deal,
buy 4 get a total free, but this offer is also open to smokins, scorcins as well

i agree with the love it/hate it as well as the fact that it needs surface.
Box finish its too squirty.  And on the wrong pattern its no good.
However, when it does match up it is one hell of a ball.
Thing is do you want to carry it around all season for that 1 pattern it works on?

I personally have seen some guys with slower ball speed TEARING the rack apart with the ball, a higher speed (and slightly dumber) bowler makes it work, but needs to dull it to stop leaving corners.  He overthrows it and it gets there late.  I love the look of the ball and I would like to try one, but I just got a Total on order so if I run into a radical for a good price ONLY through my proshop, I don't want to buy more from the outside and bring them in, then yes I would buy one.

Its pretty popular around here. . .
Once I got mine, 5 or 6 people wanted to shoot a game with it and ended up getting one for themselves within a week or two. Everyone that has one around here shreds the THS. . .
