radical vs. pba blue green inferno
« on: September 24, 2006, 06:03:47 AM »
i have this blue green inferno from pro am last year, drilled stacked leverage with pin just under ring finger.
ball i understand through this website is UI with pearl cover, whatever it might be its a great ball.clears heads without a problem and makes a very strong move on backends. my question for the brunswick guys here is what difference if any or advantage it would be to add a radical inferno to my bag?
is this ball for dryer conditions? more backend? or just harder snap in backend?
any info would be helpful. the ball i switch to when lanes burn up is a cobalt bomb pearl but doesn't have the hard backend like the blue green inferno, seems like its laboring to make it up the hill, and ball doesn't like carrydown at all.

thanks guys

The blue/green PBA Inferno is not a UI with a pearl cover (that would be the OI, either the red/black PBA one or the orange/smoke one).  It's a UI with a polished cover.  It's still a solid resin ball, though.

I think a Radical will have a later, more angular move than the blue/green PBA ball.  They will probably handle comparable amounts of oil, since Octane is somewhat stronger than the original Activator.  I'm not sure both have a place in a small arsenal, though if you're looking for 8+ balls, it might.

I from what Ive thrown the next Octane coverstock is ALOT stronger off the dry than any of the activators. And not to mention the smoothest by far threw the heads.
