Impulse Zone Drilling

I'm having a problem at one house with some heavy breakdown in the 3rd game.  I start off with my Absolute and it works great, but by the end of the 2nd game, it hooks way to early and rolls out.  It is drilled with pin right and a little up from the ring finger with the cg 3" directly below and a weight hole 1" off of pap away from the grip.  I also have a smokin with the same drill, but for some reason it is VERY over under for me and actually seems to hook a little early also in the 3rd game.  I have an impulse zone on it's way in the mail and I was thinking about drilling pin up above and between my fingers to have a drilling that will go longer.  Is this a good or a bad idea and where should I put the cg?

Please don't tell me you asked that question in the Brunswick forum.  

Hopefully the bckends stay clean.  Otherwise, don't expect much from a low flare (assumed since you don't list your PAP) drilling on the Impulse.
