105 out of 175 on the Brunswick hooking scale

Think of it as a pearlized Nemesis.  It has the same core, but it is a pearlized version of the Power Koil 18 cover whereas the Nemesis is a Power Koil 18 solid.  It will be longer than the Nemesis, but with more overall hook than the Punisher.

It has almost the same specs as the Time Zone (same hook potential & length, BVP bell core) and I suppose it will replace this ball in the line-up. Guess it will react a bit sharper since it is a pearl and has higher RG, but that's where I think it will fit.

I think that's where it will go to. Boy, an arsenal of the Goliath, Nemesis, Rampage, Punisher, And Power Groove Dry/R would make a nice 5 ball set even though I'm not a real big fan of Brunswick.

I think it is more than time that Brunswick intruduces this ball in the mid-price segment. Currently, everything concentrates on the oilier side of the spectrum, but those medium to dry balls are rather sparse. There is not much choice, and hopefully the Rampage will fill the gap between the Power Grooves and the Zone & Inferno balls, especially when you do not like the spasmic Punisher. There is no alternative to this ball at the moment!

I'd also like to see something like the Green/Black and Red/Black Monster - PK 17 balls with a core, also as alternative to trhe Punisher and the soon-to-be-gone-Slay/R (if it isn't already?).

Besides, the Rampage looks nice. Bright, daring.
