Ric,

You need to post that signature line about static weights and gas mileage in the Buzzbomb dud thread. That's hilarious!

You could get a Rampage.

This ball is a high performance piece with a modest price tag. Really hard to beat that kind of value.

Yeah.. it's just too bad that statement isn't correct. :-p

You mean the mileage will be MUCH better if I remove the floor mats?

Actually it's very correct.  One ounce on either side of a 15 lb ball affecting reaction?  Let's break this down.  16 ounces in a pound.  15 lbs.  That's a 240 ounce bowling ball.  Broken down into two separate halves, 120 ounces.  Moving one ounce from one side to the other is less than a 1% difference.  Even logically it makes no sense.  Now naturally the conversion percentage isn't the same for floormats in an SUV, but theoretically it has the same effect.  Nothing.

I prefer gluing paper clips to the side of the ball myself.

Such wisdom for 4 months of drilling experience!

*Sigh*

You become experienced with EXPERIENCE. Telling isn't selling.

Back on topic...

A suitable replacement for the Rampage is an Ultra Zone. I see a similar ball motion, just a smoother transition from oil/dry with the Ultra.

as someone who has had two rampages i've seen huge changes in ball reaction when changing the surface preparation and almost no change in ball reaction by shifting the position of the cg......

it is probably not going to be replaced.  nothing on the BVP is ever replaced, just a new ball comes out.

lemme clarify how i read that, i can see how my response led to confusion:  i read it as if something was going to come out just like the rampage instead of what ball will come out that is along the same lines.  yes, the wizard is identical to the nemesis except for the color.  the sidewinder is totally different from the ambush.  the ambush is a particle pearl ball whereas the sidewinder is a low particle.  as for the mammoth...what a POS!!!!  they do need to come out with a polished BVP
