Lane 1 cover debatacle
« on: October 17, 2006, 05:48:03 AM »
Ok...so lane 1 covers are officially moving to Columbia....so....

Is it safe to say, if the lane 1 cores do not change, we will truely see how brunswick coverstocks stack up against columbia covers?

Best of the best basically. This should be interesting.

Just like bowling styles, core/coverstock matchups are very important.  Brunswick found this out when they discovered Activator doesn't match up well with high RG cores.  Columbia may have to further tweak SuperFlex/M80, or whatever they decide to wrap around the Lane#1 cores.  Also, what's better for you might be lousy for me.

What you said is a nice concept, but I'm not sure it's a good test.
