Uh...who exactly does this?  Wouldn't make sense.  Polish would add length, not something you'd want on heavy oil...

I polished my Vendetta sniper because I didnt like the reaction on oil with the OOB finish.. Now she gets more length and a nicer backend reaction, just like I like them

I noticed that on real oil (national tourneys and so) I prefer playing on a tight angle with a mildly polished strong ball (That will be my inferno or sniper). But then again, my rev/speed ratio goes more towards revs so its hard for me to use strong drillings or sanded - dulled balls. And the fun part of it is that I've tried to get more speed and I get more revs with the speed, having a natural crank is SOOOOO strange

Well back to topic, thats why I use polished balls on oil. Once I finish correcting some issues with my knee bend I will post my long waited video

Why another duplicate post? I answered in the other thread you started.

I polished my Ultimate Inferno.  Out of the box it didn't work so well for me, and my adjustments weren't either, so I needed some extra length.  It still hooks a ton.

I left my Road Hawg in the OOB condition, but it doesn't get much use because it doesn't match up on the lanes I bowl on very well.

I'll keep it in that condition though so I have something to go to incase I run into some heavy oil.
