Title: rattler

i have a couple of questions. Is the rattler a ball that should periodically have the oil removed and is the rattler to strong for drier lanes wherein it wont work as the lanes break down.

I can take a stab at your second question--IME the Rattler will work as long as there is oil that you can chase inside.  If, however, you need to zone bowl, and you can't move left to find a clean ball path, then you'd want to ball down from the Rattler, to something like the Avalanche or Slingshot.

The Rattler, like every other reactive ball, should have the lane oil extracted on a regular basis. This is even recommended by Brunswick for it's products. Depending upon your style you may be able to use the Rattler on drier lanes but there are better choices for this condition like the Avalanche or Slingshot.
