If you go 220 and rough buff with the Rattler what should happen is that it will start reading the lane slightly earlier and still finish strong, but maybe not quite as angular. I suspect that with the naked eye it will be hard to tell the difference, except that the ball may seem to be more forgiving.
With most balls that are finished with "High Gloss" I believe the underlying grit is 400, which is why I can draw the above conclusion.
