rattler vs sidewinder

I have a sidewinder that is 4" pin to pap.. set up for a double thumb drilling.. but without the weighthole (liked the reaction without the hole)

I'm thinking of picking up a few brunswick balls and am wondering how the rattler differs or will complement the sidewinder.
From what I see they should both handle the same amount of oil.. just the rattler will be a bit more angular..

The Rattler will definitely be longer and cleaner down the lane and more backend kick than the Sidewinder.  I would take the Rattler and drill the pin at 5 inches from PAP, do a 55-60 degree drilling and a weight hole down if needed.  I have one drilled similar to that and it is Hayzeus on a house shot.

I have both with the same layout. FWIW, on a THS, the Sidewinder handles more volume and allows me to play deeper than the Rattler.  Depending on who else is on the pair during league the shot holds up the longest for the Rattler but YMMV.

that is the pin to pap I was thinking about..set it up for a double thumb like my sidewinder but with a 5" pin to pap..
