Both Ringers appeal to me. The original appears a bit more of a controlled reaction than the Platinum.  How would either of the Ringers compare to say a Damage or a Storm Ball with R2S Cover like the Fringe? 

I'm looking for slower response with length, if that makes sense. I understand that the more a ball pushes the more it stores but I find the Damage and Fringe too much.

The Ringers especially the burgundy will be similar to the Damage. If you are finding the Damage to be too much, I would suggest going with the Strike king and knocking off the shine to slow it down sooner. This will lower the response to friction. That is what I did with mine.

I don't own a Ringer, yet.  I have gone with surface on the Damage.  OK but not ideal.  I'll probably end up drilling a Pearl with 1-2 inch pin to PAP to get what I'm looking for.

I had the Damage, the Massive Damage, and the OG Ringer.  The Ringer is a lot more ball than the Damage.  It can take much more oil and in fact needs some oil up front to thrive. 

the burgundy ringer is 10 times stronger than advertised, should be in the high performance category and is angular on the backend no matter the drill...its going to be way more ball than either of the damages, have no experience with the platinum

Ringer reminds me of the Radical Inferno.  Sneaky strong little f'er.

I have a Damage undrilled and Ringer Original, undrilled.

I have a Freakin Frantic which is not what I would call angular but is strong and all the way down lane develops angle through a combination of its strong core and an awesome coverstock.

It looks a lot like the videos I have seen of the original ringer.

There are a lot of Damages in my house and most of them look like the coverstock and higher rg core carry the ball further down lane and then have an angular move.  More skid snap.

Though they are all in the same class and if drilled the same may play near the same place on the lane if drilled the same each moves slightly differently.  The Ringer and the Freakin more constant drive all the way down the lane.

All 3 are great balls 2 more similar and more skid snap (Damage).

The original Ringer would work well for you. Brunswick announced a new Ringer, the same core with a solid cover stock to be released this summer with a green Strike King.
